KiBajuni Lexis

box4   Nurse, Derek. 2010. Lexicon for Ki-Bajuni = Ki-Gunya = Ki-Thikhuu.  (Bajuni Lexicon)

box4   Sacleux, Ch. 1939. Dictionnaire Swahili-Français. Paris: Institut d’Ethnologie.  This PDF-version of Sacleux’ Swahili dictionary has been produced by Thilo Schadeberg (t.c.schadeberg@hum.leidenuniv.nl) on an initiative by Ridder Samsom (ridder.samsom@uni-hamburg.de). It is available free of charge to all students and scholars. The generous support received from Bayreuth University, Afrikanistik, Prof. Gudrun Miehe and Mrs. Gerlind Scheckenbach is gratefully acknowledged.  It is a searchable PDF document. Results are better for French than for Swahili; results will vary due to the poor quality of the type and paper of the original document. Also users should be aware of the differences between the orthography used by Sacleux and that of Standard Swahili.  Sacleux includes vocabulary for KiBajuni marking all instances with the coding “G”; however, it is not searchable. You can download a copy to your own computer by going directly to http://www.uni-leipzig.de/~afrika/swafo/index.php/sacleux
